I've spent more than two decades building things that work under pressure, first as an engineer, then as a business builder, and now as the person bringing AI into industrial operations. My hands-on robotics work actually goes back to 2004, supporting a Kawasaki spray painting robot installation at a Toyota plant, well before robotics became my full-time focus. I later led Dynaflo's service department and delivered multi-million ringgit paint circulation systems for Proton, Tan Chong, and Honda Thailand, using a self-taught calculation method built on the same matrix math that powers neural networks today.
I co-founded Mationz in consumer robotics, then Transnational Foods, a digital seafood marketplace, then tested the commercial robotics market directly through Hench Robotics from 2020 to 2023, running food delivery and UV disinfection robot trials with organizations including McDonald's, Sunway, and Planetarium Negara. Real-world testing showed two problems, the technology wasn't yet delivering enough productivity value, and customers wanted to rent this kind of equipment rather than own it. Combined with cash-rich competitors flooding the market with unsustainable pricing, I made the call to exit in 2023, a judgment the wider industry has only caught up to in 2026 as it shifts toward rental-based models.
Today, as Sales General Manager at FA Controls, I've grown our robotics division from a tenth of company revenue to over two-thirds, while deploying production AI systems, from computer vision to autonomous mobile robots, for global semiconductor manufacturers including Infineon, Texas Instruments, and Sensata. I've also personally built two AI applications, a sales intelligence platform that automates lead generation, and a marketing assistant grounded in our own product manuals. Outside FA Controls, I serve as Vice Chair of MTSFB's AI standards working group, co-authoring Malaysia's TEVV testing framework and personally authoring safety standards proposals for physical AI and robotics systems.

Built a real-time analyser connecting Google Analytics, Search Console, and social media data to measure marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI, feeding continuous optimisation of FA Controls' marketing strategy. Related to the AI Sales Coach ecosystem but built and documented as its own application.

Founded and built one of Malaysia's earliest structured consumer robotics retail distribution networks, for home-use robot brands iCLEBO and Terrabot. Grew distribution across Carrefour hypermarkets and ESH Electrical stores, then expanded into e-commerce across Lazada, Rakuten, 11Street, Public Bank eMall, and Groupon, doubling revenue in the process. Reached more than 10 self-sustained physical outlets and grew revenue a further 50% through new product distributorships.
Built a B2B2C digital marketplace for seafood and related products from the ground up, onboarding a supplier ecosystem of fish farms, dry food suppliers, and fish farming equipment businesses onto a structured e-commerce platform. Deployed digital marketing automation and AI-driven customer engagement tools to drive platform conversion and supplier acquisition.
